On March 3, 2018, His Excellency Dr. Gilberto Llerena Garcia, Ambassador of Panama, Mr. Ricardo Berna, third Secretary of the Embassy and Mr. Manoj Narang from the Embassy visited the CBCI Centre and met Rev. Theodore Mascarenhas SFX, Secretary General of CBCI and Rev. Fr. Deepak Thomas KJ OCD, CBCI Youth Council Secretary. The meeting was requested for by the Ambassador of Panama to discuss about the preparations for the World Youth Day to be held in Panama from 22nd to 26th January 2019.

In the meeting, the Ambassador extended his full cooperation for the preparation for the World Youth Day by the CBCI Council for Youth. He also briefed the Secretary General and the CBCI Youth Council Secretary about the required procedure and modalities to be followed while organizing the travel and visas for the World Youth Day. It was a fruitful meeting as the CBCI Council for Youth now has the required packages and offers for the travel to the World Youth Day.
