WELCOME REV. MSGR JAVIER DOMINGO FERNÁNDEZ GONZÁLEZ

COUNSELLOR OF THE APOSTOLIC NUNCIATURE IN INDIA AND NEPAL

We are pleased to inform you that we have received a communication from our Apostolic Nuncio, Most Reverend Archbishop Giambattista Diquattro that Monsignor Javier Domingo Fernández Gonsalez Counsellor, arrived in Delhi on Friday 9th March 2018. I had the joy of meeting him today and welcoming him in the name of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India.

 Msgr. Javier was born in Caracas, Venezuela, on 7 July 1973. He was ordained a priest and incardinated in the Archdiocese of Caracas, on 21 July 2001.

He has a Doctorate in Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, and a Doctorate in Canon Law from the Ecclesiastical University of “San Dámaso” in Madrid, Spain.

He was assumed into the diplomatic service of the Holy See on 1 July 2007 and has served in the Central African Republic and Chad, Spain, and Nigeria. He speaks Spanish, Italian, English and French.

We welcome Monsignor Javier among us and wish him all God’s blessings and graces in the mission entrusted to him.

May Mary of Our Lady of Good Counsel intercede for him.
