           2. Right Rev. Yoohanon Mar Theodosius appointed as Coadjutor Bishop of the Eparchy of Muvattupuzha

Your Eminence, Your Beatitude, Your Grace, Your Excellency,

We have received a Communication from the Apostolic Nunciature, that as directed by the Congregation for the Oriental Churches, the following provisions for the Syro-Malankara Church have been made:

The appointment of the Right Rev. Samuel Mar Irenios, at present Auxiliary Bishop of the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum, as Coadjutor Bishop of the Eparchy of Pathanamthitta.

The appointment of the Right Rev. Yoohanon Mar Theodosius, the present Curia Bishop and Apostolic Visitator to Europe and Oceania, as Coadjutor Bishop of the Eparchy of Muvattupuzha.

This ecclesiastical provision was made public in Rome on Tuesday, 10th April, 2018, at noon local time, corresponding to 3.30 p.m., Indian Standard Time.
