1st - 2nd July 2018: Teachers’ Training at St. Anthoney’s H.S. School, Fategarh:

About 80 teaching staff of St. Anthoney’s Senior Secondary School at Fategarh in Farukhabad had aninteractive training programme conducted by Fr. Joseph Manipadam, Secretary CBCI Office for Education and Culture on Positive disciplining of students without the use punishments. The training also touched upon the importance of activity based pre-schooling and effective teaching technics. St Anthoney’s HS School at Fategarh is in the Cantonement area of this apparently peaceful district in Utter Pradesh where the Country witnessed the First War of Independence called the Sepoy Mutiny. The All Souls’ Church and the Museum remain on to tell the story to all visitors. This institution is one of the 12 educational institutions of the Etawa Mission which is an outreach programme of the Syro Malabar Archdiocese of Changanacherry and falls within the Archdiocese of Agra. Most of the Teachers in the institution had relocated from Kerala to this town to impart education to the students of this school under the able leadership of Fr. Jimmy James.

5th- 6th July 2018: Evaluation of Implementation of the All India Catholic Education Policy at Trissur:

75 heads of Aided Schools of the Archdiocese of Trissur had a day’s programme Programme regarding the present day challenges regarding Catholic Education and how to gear up to continue imparting education to empower the youth of this country to grow up as upright citizens and men and women of Character and conviction. The programme also included a survey and evaluation of the implementation of the All India Catholic Education Policy through a self-study report the participants were asked to prepare and present for evaluation and certification. The programme was convened by the Archdiocesan Coordinator for Education, Fr. Antoney Chempakassery and animated by Fr. Joseph Manipadam, CBCI Secretary for Education and Cuture.

7th-8thJuly 2018: Self Study Report and Evaluation of Implementation of the All India Catholic Education Policy at Chenganacherry:

St. Berchman’s High School at Chenganacherry is one of the oldest Catholic Boarding and day school in this coastal town of Chenganacherry in Kerala, in the heart of the Archdiocese of Chenganacherry, a Syro Malabar Catholic Archdiocese. The programme convened by Fr. Manoj Alex Karukayil, the Archdiocesan Education Coordinator, was attended by about 120 heads of the Aided schools of the Archdiocese. The programme was facilitated by Fr. Joseph Manipadam from the CBCI Office for Education and Culture.The programme included a survey and evaluation of the implementation of the All India Catholic Education Policy through a self-study report the participants were asked to prepare and present for evaluation and certification. The programme was well attended and discussed also regarding some of the present day challenges in the field of education in the country. Fr. Joseph Manipadam also visited the Boarding premises and a few of the Catholic Educational Institutions of Chenganacherry.
